H.O.L.E., The Disillusionment of Mike and Eva, is a feature length film featuring sound design, background music, foley, audio editing, mixing and mastering by Terry Pender. H.O.L.E. tells the story of an over-zealous, socially conscious married couple who attempt to package a young homeless drifter as a recording artist when they discover he is the son of a deceased, legendary sixties singer/songwriter. The man begins to lose control of his new life when a beautiful young, record producer and a mysterious stranger from his father's dark past converge on him with their own separate, self-serving agendas. The film has already claimed awards at the Berkeley Film & Video Festival, and the Bare Bones International Film Festival. It features Jason Kravits (ABC's The Practice, FOX's Wanda at Large), Kelly Deadmon (Host of A&E's Biography Channel and the Food Channel's Date Plate) Matt Ostroff (Disney's The Snow Queen, Robert Redford's The Horse Whisperer) Tracy Sallows (Broadways Angels In America, NBC's Law & Order) and Victor Verhaeghe ( Law & Order, Spin City, Sex In The City). H.O.L.E. marks the feature film debut of actor/writer Brian O'Neill (HBO's Emmy Winning Best Mini-Series The Corner, NBC's Law & Order, and Third Watch). It was shot on digital video using a single Canon XL1 camera, over a period of eighteen days on the streets of New York City, with a budget of $50,000.
