Over the years I’ve collaborated with many artists and musicians on various projects. I first met and slowly started working with Paul Kaiser after he gave a series of guest lectures for one of our classes on Movement and Sound in the fall of 1999. I started by doing some audio engineering and recording. Our first works together were Trace and Inkblot Projections (permanent collection, Exploratorium, San Francisco, CA). I went on to work with Paul and his Open Ended Group, which consists of Paul Kaiser, Shelley Eshkar, and Marc Downie. With that group I went on to create sound designs for Pedestrian , Arrival, Playground, Enlightenment, and Point A → B. We are currently working on several new commissions. Please check the Calendar page for updates on where these works are currently being shown.
I’ve worked with Luke DuBois at Columbia University for close to ten years now. Luke is a gifted MAX/MSP/Jitter programmer and all around creative good guy. Over the years Luke has been instrumental in helping me design my live performance interfaces as well as some interesting software for young children.
Minus Ted and the Akoustikats are both acoustic bands that I've played with for many years. |
