Had a blast with ICE and John Adams conducting at the Library of Congress. They did a stellar rendition of “La forma dello spazio” and it was great fun to visit the capital.

And so my new orchestral work “Lineage” finally comes into being with the dedicated musicians of the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas in Miami Beach! I’m also looking forward to its’ West Coast premiere with the San Francisco Symphony in September.

Had an amazing month working with the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne in Montreal at the NEM Forum! It was an honor to work with Lorraine Vaillancourt and her band, as well as to listen and learn from the other Canadian/Scandinavian composers who participated in this workshop.
