Michael Weinstein-Reiman (GSAS '21, Music Theory) has been appointed Assistant Professor of Music Theory at University of Wisconsin-Madison, Mead Witter School of Music, starting Fall 2022.
Dr. Paula Harper (GSAS '19, Historical Musicology), previously Assistant Professor of Musicology in the Glenn Korff School of Music at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has been appointed Assistant Professor in Music and The College at the University of Chicago.

The Fromm Music Foundation at Harvard University has announced the names of fourteen composers selected to receive 2021 Fromm commissions. Among the fourteen winners are Columbia alumnus David Bird (DMA 2019), and three current DMA students, Jessie Cox, Louis Goldford, and Diana Rodriguez.
