Jose Miguel Ribeiro-Pereira is a researcher at the Centro de Investigacao em Ciencia e Tecnologia das Artes at the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa.  He received his PhD in Music Theory from Columbia in 2004.  He was a visiting Fellow at Yale University in 2009.
