Dr. Simon Calle completed his PhD in May 2012 with the dissertation, Reinterpreting the Global, Rearticulating the Local: Nueva musica Colombiana, Networks, Circulation, and Affect.  He joined the Ministry of Culture in Bogota, Colombia in 2012.
