Dr. Marc Hannaford, Lecturer in Music, has accepted an offer to join the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre & Dance as an Assistant Professor of Music Theory, to commence in Fall 2020.

Marc is a recent graduate of the doctoral program in Music Theory at Columbia whose dissertation, "One Line, Many Views: Perspectives on Music Theory, Composition, and Improvisation through the Work of Muhal Richard Abrams" (2019), was advised by Prof. Ellie Hisama.
