Andrew Haringer Appointed to St. Anselm College

Andrew Haringer, who received his PhD in Historical Musicology from Columbia in 2012, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Music in the Fine Arts Department at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, beginning Fall 2018.  Andrew will teach music history, theory, and piano.  After receiving his doctorate at Columbia, Andrew taught at Dartmouth College, Williams College, and at Quest University in British Columbia, Canada.  He has also remained active as a pianist and as a scholar, writing mainly about the cultural world of Franz Liszt.  On the faculty of St. Anselm, Andrew will join Columbia Historical Musicology PhD Sean Parr (2010).  Congratulations, Andrew!
