Anya Wilkening has received the 2021-2022 Core Preceptor Award for Excellence in Teaching Music Humanities. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Historical Musicology.

In addition, Wilkening was selected as the third-place winner of the Vagantes Paper Prize for her paper, "Donning Melodies, Dawning Awareness: Intermelodicity and Meaning in the Alba Tradition."
