Composer Courtney Bryan (DMA, 2014) was recently interviewed about the première of "The Dream Unfinished," which coincided with anniversary of Sandra Bland’s death in police custody (on July 13, 2015). The work was a musical memorial to Bland, created by Bryan in collaboration with the poet Sharan Strange and the vocalist Helga Davis. Read Sarit Luban's interview with Bryan.
