Kyle DeCoste has won the 2021 Peter Narvaez Memorial Student Paper Prize from the International Association for the Study of Popular Music – Canada (IASPM-Canada) for his paper “Lil Chano from 79th: Voicing Black Boy Joy in the Music of Chance the Rapper.”
