Sean Colonna Publishes Book Chapter in Volume "Teaching Gradually: Practical Pedagogy and Classroom Strategies for Graduate Students by Graduate Students"

Sean Colonna has published a book chapter titled "Using Mastery Objectives to Foster Inclusive Teaching" in the edited volume Teaching Gradually: Practical Pedagogy and Classroom Strategies for Graduate Students by Graduate Students (Stylus, 2021). In addition to offering some strategies for designing inclusive learning objectives, the chapter includes a sketch of a lesson plan Sean developed for Music Humanities that puts Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo into conversation with Kendrick Lamar’s “For Free?” and “King Kunta.”
