Professor Zosha Di Castri has published her essay, “Tachitipo—The Living Passport,” on the creative process behind her debut album, Tachitipo, in the recently-released Arcana IX: Musicians on Music, edited by John Zorn. Di Castri's essay is included amongst other artists' writings, including those by Sae Hashimoto, Brandon Lopez, and Tomeka Reid. Initiated in 1997 and now in its ninth installment, the Arcana series, edited by composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist John Zorn, is a major source of new music theory and practice in the 21st century.
