The final performance for Prof. Zosha Di Castri's graduate seminar, "Composing for Dance." Canadian, Chilean, and American composers from Columbia University collaborate with emerging talents on the New York choreographic scene to create original works for music and dance.

The final concert of the Columbia Composers 2016-17 season, on May 1st, 2017 at DiMenna Center for Classical Music, will feature the Talea Ensemble performing works by Stylianos Dimou, William Dougherty, Mary Kouyoumdjian, Matthew Ricketts, John Rot, and Onur Yildirim.
Anssi Karttunen (cello) and Nicolas Hodges (piano) will give a recital at the Columbia Global Center | Paris (4, Rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris) on Saturday, April 22 at 8:00 pm. The program will feature the two sonatas for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms, a work by Betsy Jolas, and world premières by Columbia composers Ashkan Behzadi and Fred Lerdahl.
