The Department warmly congratulates Jessie Cox, who successfully defended his DMA dissertation in Music Composition, titled "Listening with the Unknown: Unforming the World with Slave Ears" on March 29, 2024. Jessie's dissertation was advised by Professor George Lewis, and his committee included Professors Seth CluettGeorg HaasBrent Hayes Edwards, and Charles Uzor.
