Linxi Chen is a composer, sound artist, and pianist. Her work begins with flashes of color and the shifting interplay of sound, image, and touch. Guided by sensation, she follows fleeting sonic traces as they drift and transform. From these fragile sounds, each carrying its own character, emerge moments of disorientation and rawness.
Based in Zürichand and working across Europe, she explores composition through transdisciplinary collaborations with visual artists, sound/stage designers, and choreographers. Her work melts compositional practice into expanded performance, situating sound within embodied, visual, and spatial experiences that extend beyond the auditory realm.
