A native New Yorker, I studied in Paris and London for seven years, earning a BMus with a minor in German at Royal Holloway, University of London, as well as a graduate degree in music from the same institution which was partially supported by the Corky McGuinness Award for musicology. My master’s dissertation focused on the relationship between Philip Glass, Samuel Beckett, and the Theatre of the Absurd within their shared artistic milieu of 1960s Paris. Other research interests include opera and voice studies, feminist musicology, Neo-Riemannian and Schenkerian analysis, music aesthetics, and Breton musical traditions. I currently work as an Assistant Editor specializing in Francophone publications at Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale and have a DELF B2 qualification. I am also a classically-trained soprano and enjoy performing in-concert and on-stage in my spare time.
