The Cassatt String Quartet, named after the celebrated American impressionist painter Mary Cassatt, joins Magdalena Stern-Baczewska, Director of Columbia's Music Performance Program, for a 3-day residency, in collaboration with the Office of the Core Curriculum. The group will perform for the students of Music Humanities on March 28th and 29th, and conclude the residency with an evening recital "American Women play American Women," on Thursday, March 30th, at 7:30 PM, at Columbia University's Italian Academy. Registration is highly recommended.
