First made over 3,000 years ago, the Guqin is more than a musical instrument. Wang Peng, master Guqin craftsman and musician, believes the Qin is the Tao to balance your Mind, Body, and Soul.

From his artisanship to the energy of sound, Wang will discuss the history of changes to the Guqin over the millennia, as well as demonstrate the life aesthetics of practicing the spirit of Heaven and Earth, the Eastern philosophy harmonizing humans and everything in the world.

Wang is the founder of the JunTianFang Music Group. He's a Guqin master, aesthetic interior designer, and a representative participant in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Project (for the Art of Guqin.) He is also the Vice President of the Guqin Committee for the Chinese People’s Music Society for Strings and Woodwinds, and the Vice Director of the Furnishing and Display Committee for the China Interior Design Association.
