The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Andrés García Molina, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Ethnomusicology titled "Aural economies and precarious labor: Street-vendor songs in Cuba" on May 14, 2020. Dr. García Molina's dissertation was advised by Professor Ana Maria Ochoa, and his committee also included Professors Chris Washburne, Aaron A. Fox, Brian Larkin, and Alejandra Bronfman (SUNY Albany).
