The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Audrey Amsellem, who successfully defended her PhD dissertation in Music (Ethnomusicology), titled "Sound and Surveillance: The Making of the Neoliberal Ear" on May 16, 2022. Dr. Amsellem's dissertation was advised by Professor Aaron Fox, and her committee included Professors Christopher Washburne, Ana María Ochoa Gautier, Eben Moglen (Columbia Law School), and Jonathan Sterne (McGill).
