The Department warmly congratulates Dr. John Glasenapp, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Historical Musicology titled "To pray without ceasing: A diachronic history of Cistercian chant in the Beaupre antiphoner (Baltimore, Walters Art Museum), W. 759-762" on April 14, 2020. Dr. Glasenapp's dissertation was advised by Professor Susan Boynton, and his committee also included Professors Julia Doe, Giuseppe Gerbino, Anne Lester, and Steven Vanderputten.
