Dr. Scott Gleason (GSAS '13) has written a new book titled Composing Modernism: Musical Formalism and the Experimental Turn in the Princeton School. The book was published by University of California Press.

The book examines the postwar currents of music composition that occurred within the Princeton School among composers like Milton Babbitt, J.K. Randall, Elaine Barkin, and Benjamin Boretz.
