The Department warmly congratulates Finola Merivale, who successfully defended her DMA dissertation in Music Composition, titled "Community Co-Creation and Virtual Reality in Opera: Composing Out of the Ordinary: As an nGnách" on April 7, 2023. Finola's dissertation was advised by Professor George Lewis, and her committee included Professors Marcos Balter, Zosha Di Castri, Donnacha Dennehy (Princeton University), and Kamala Sankaram (The New School).
