Professor Emerita Ellie Hisama Awarded Honorary Membership by American Musicological Society

Professor Emerita Ellie Hisama was awarded an Honorary Membership by the American Musicological Society at its annual meeting in Chicago for her “extraordinary contributions to the Society and to the study and teaching of music.” Honorary Membership recognizes "outstanding lifetime contributions to the field and to the Society" and is the society’s highest honor.
