Professor Ruth Opara Publishes Three New Articles

Professor Ruth Opara has published three new articles in Journal of Popular Music Studies, International Journal of Cultural Policy, and Ethnomusicology.

In Journal of Popular Music Studies, she wrote "Gender Wealth Gap in the USA’s Afrobeats Scene: The Case of Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy." In International Journal of Cultural Policy, she wrote "Inverse relationships between cultural sustainability and human rights: the counterintuitive cases of Nigerian Avu Udu dance and white-power music." And in Ethnomusicology, she wrote a review article of Steven Feld's multimedia work on the honk horn lorries and Por Por Music of Ghana.
