Professor Walter Frisch Awarded Honorary Membership by American Musicological Society

Professor Walter Frisch was awarded an Honorary Membership by the American Musicological Society at its annual meeting in Chicago for "an extraordinary record as a scholar and many years of substantial service to the AMS. Frisch is H. Harold Gumm/Harry and Albert von Tilzer Professor of Music at Columbia University.” Honorary Membership recognizes "outstanding lifetime contributions to the field and to the Society" and is the society’s highest honor.
