Sasha Doster, PhD student in Historical Musicology, has been awarded a scholarship to attend the 2026 Bayreuth Festival in Bavaria, Germany. Every year, The Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation invites young artists and scholars to visit the Festival. Awardees from around the world are nominated by their local Wagner Societies. They learn about the history of the Festival, network with fellow opera peers, and attend tours, talks, and concerts.
