The Department warmly congratulates Uri Kochavi, who successfully defended his DMA dissertation in Music Composition, titled "The Mechanisms of instrumental expansion: Musical Instruments and their Gravitational fields" on November 13, 2024. Uri's dissertation was advised by Professor Georg Haas, and his committee included Professors Seth Cluett, Zosha Di Castri, Chaya Czernowin (Harvard), and Ilan Volkov.
