Walter Frisch Named 2023–24 Fellow of the Institute for Ideas and Imagination

Professor Walter Frisch has been selected as a Fellow at the Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination. He will be in residence at Reid Hall in Paris for Fall 2023. Last year, Professor Alessandra Ciucci and Dr. Bill Dougherty (DMA '21) were also selected as Fellows. The Institute, located in Reid Hall and in partnership with Columbia Global Centers | Paris, provides a space for artists and scholars of varying disciplines to collaborate with faculty, students, and each other. Dr. Frisch will be doing research for a book about the classic French film musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964). To read more about the Institute, visit the Institute's website.
