On Wednesday, July 7 (Mahler's 161st birthday!), it's time for Season 2 of the podcast "Embrace Everything: The World of Gustav Mahler.” On deck this year: Mahler's Symphony no. 2 (“Resurrection”), one of the biggest and most mind-blowing symphonies ever written. Adjunct Assistant Professor Marilyn McCoy appears as a talking head in all 5 episodes, and served as musical/historical advisor for the series, which was created and produced by Aaron Cohen of WNYC/WQXR New York.
