The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Mark Saccomano, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Music Theory titled "Musical Sound and Spatial Perception: How Music Structures our Sense of Space" on February 28, 2020. Dr. Saccomano's dissertation was advised by Professor Mariusz Kozak, and his committee also included Professors Joseph Dubiel, Benjamin Steege, Marion A. Guck, and Seth Cluett.
