The Department warmly congratulates Nina Fukuoka, who successfully defended her DMA dissertation in Music Composition, titled "Horror as Multimedia Genre" on April 14, 2024. Nina's dissertation was advised by Professor George Lewis, and her committee included Professors Seth Cluett, Georg Haas, Ellie Hisama (University of Toronto), and Du Yun (Peabody Institute, Johns Hopkins).
