Grant Woods Defends Dissertation

The Department warmly congratulates Grant Woods, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Music (Historical Musicology), titled "'By Right of Inheritance': Empire and Identity in the First British Folk Revival" on May 2, 2025. Grant's dissertation was advised by Professor Julia Doe, and his committee included Professors Benjamin Steege, Knar Abrahamyan, Walter Frisch, and Deborah Valenze (Barnard).
