Professor Marcos Balter will be, starting next summer, the new Coordinator of Composition at Tanglewood.

Professor Marcos Balter will be, starting next summer, the new Coordinator of Composition at Tanglewood. He will be joined in this role by Nina C. Young (DMA, 2016) and Nick DiBerardino. Also at Tanglewood is Professor George Lewis, one of Tanglewood's composition faculty.

Tanglewood Music Center is a summer academy for advanced musical training run by the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The Composition Program of Tanglewood brings in Fellows, teaches them, and commissions new works from them that are performed throughout the summer.
