The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Mike Ford, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Music (Historical Musicology), titled "An Agile Musicology: Improvisation in Corporate Management and Lean Startups" on November 30, 2021. Dr. Ford's dissertation was advised by Professor George Lewis, and his committee included Professors Chris Washburne, Lydia Goehr, Sheena Iyengar (Columbia Business School), and Maria Guadalupe (INSEAD).
