Kyle DeCoste Defends Dissertation

The Department warmly congratulates Kyle DeCoste, who successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Music (Ethnomusicology), “Imagining Innocence: Black Popular Music and the Poetics of Childhood,” on December 11, 2023. Kyle's dissertation was advised by Professor Kevin Fellezs, and his committee included Professors Aaron Fox, Alessandra Ciucci, Kyra Gaunt (State University of New York at Albany), and Kimberly Mack (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign).
