Dr. Kate Soper (DMA '11) has had a preview feature of her new opera The Hunt published by the New York Times. The opera was commissioned by Miller Theatre; the world premiere is October 12th, and another performance is on October 14th, both at Miller Theatre. The Hunt delves into myths about unicorns and maidens, but Dr. Soper ties those myths to modern discussions around gender presentation and expectation.
